Date: Monday April 4 - Monday April 18

Inspired by the Media Lab’s famous Festival Of Learning, this year’s How To Grow (Almost) Anything class will be hosting the First Annual Festival Of Growing!! FOG will be a two week experience where students will be able to interact with cutting edge subjects and practices of synthetic biology.

Our aim is to have a series of hands-on workshops that will expose students to practical knowledge about topics that are crucial to the current development of the field. Students will then use this knowledge to strengthen their final projects for the class. Our current workshop tracks are Hardware (bioreactors, microfluidics, etc.), Software (protein ML, metabolic modeling, etc.) and Wetware (MICP, etc).
